Hey ya’ll!

So, it’definitely been a while since I have updated this because I am finally get control of the site. I do apologize.

Well, I am still here in Slovakia having a pretty decent time. My teammates are wonderful and the people that run the team really treat us all well. We are currently like 2-3 in Euroleague games, however, we do feel we let a couple get away from us. We start playing everyone again here this week and our first game is against Spartak and LJ, Sue, Diana, and Tina Thompson. They obviously have a little more star power than we do, but who knows, it’s why you play the game right? The game is actually in the big hockey arena here Kosice and we all figure there will be thousands of fans there so we are all excited about that……In the Slovakian league we are undefeated and have really only had one decent game. The others we then to win by about 50 points and that’s a huge difference here because we will still be pressing and trapping and running up the score; that’s hard for me to do, but usually I only play about 15-20 minutes in those games.

We have traveled to Moscow and Brno in Euroleague games and we travel to Belgium right before I get to come home for Christmas. I am pretty excited about the opportunity to come home and see my family and friends. I get by with talking to them everyday, but it’s definitely not the same as seeing them in person (and probably whooping them in some Wii or cards)!!!!

Outside of basketball, life is pretty simple but I really have no complaints. I am enjoying my time here and I look forward to writing an update after the Spartak game this week. Check back in!
