February 19, 2007So….this is it! Erin and I are officially heading into our last week of Big Ten games….WOW! Time sure has flown! It’s hard to believe Thursday is our last home game. I can’t even begin to tell you how much I will miss running out of the tunnel of Mackey Arena to Hail Purdue. It’s definitely a moment in my life that I will savor and hopefully we will be able to come out of there with a win. Last year we let a win on senior night slip through our fingers; so here’s to us whooping the Hawkeyes! J
The loss to MSU was a heartbreaker and definitely one we let get a way but it is what it is and we can do nothing about it now. I think we’ve grown from that moment. We had a close one in Ann Arbor and in Madison, but both were wins and that’s all that really matters.
This week is huge because we need to gain some momentum before heading down to Indianapolis! Hope to see lots of people in the stands Thursday night. Don’t usually say these kinds of things, but I think Erin and I deserve a nice BIG crowd! Boiler Up!!!!
