Well ya’ll….can you believe 2006 is over!? It’s so hard to imagine that in a little over an hour it will be 2007. I will not be making it to see the ball drop; in fact, I can’t tell you when the last ball drop I saw. I am getting to old to stay up that late!

We are now 2-0 in the Big Ten with pretty decisive wins this past week. I can’t even begin to tell you how nice it was to be at home again! Guess what….Erin and I only have 6 more home games left for our entire careers in a Boilermaker uniform. That’s really sad because I have thoroughly enjoyed playing in front of the Mackey faithful over the course of my years at Purdue. I have truly cherished every moment and look forward to six more memorable games on Keady Court.

This week we have two HUGE road games. On Wednesday we are at Iowa where we lost last year. They are a tough team on their home floor and will be out for revenge after losing a close one today at home against Ohio State. And then on Sunday we are at Texas for a Big Ten/Big XII challenge. That game is on ESPN2 and should be a very good game because they are a dangerous team just looking for someone to go off on! So….this week we have our hands full and both will be our first real road test since losing to Notre Dame.
