Alright, so it has been a while since I last posted and lots of things have been going on since then. First and foremost, I was here ALL MAY -- taking classes and working out!!!! Interesting, huh? I could do a whole lot being that I was nursing a stress fracture, but I have been released from that and I have started running again. This May, it was Natasha, Lindsay, and myself while everyone else took a nice break from West Lafayette and got to go home and spend time with their families. Now that the second module of summer school has started, everyone is here and working hard. Natasha just left for Russia -- should be an awesome time for her. I actually had the opportunity to go down to Dallas for a week and workout with someone who knows the game a little more than I do. Two of my really good friends, Lindsey Baker and Hannah Anderson, are in Dallas for the summer interning for Nancy Lieberman -- I figured it was the perfect opportunity to take advantage of Nancy's knowledge for the game. So NO ONE thinks that I was just down there for fun -- we actually got up every morning and ran and lifted and then in the afternoons we would go the gym and she would beat me up on the court. Also, I have always thought about getting into something like sports broadcasting and/or color commentating when I am done playing and it was great to learn from someone who has so much experience in that field. I had an awesome time and learned so much!.....So, it's out that I am going to Europe -- we are actually going to to Denmark and Sweden and I am definitely looking forward to the opportunity to play and travel the world. We should have a fun time and win some ball games at the same time. I know I am going to make the most of it and hopefully it will help me take my game to another level! I leave in 3 weeks for camp at Illinois before jumping on the plane to cross the Atlantic. I plan on taking my computer so I'll see what I can do about getting some updates about what we are doing and how we are playing. Until then, ya'll be good and take care. God Bless Ya'll!     ~KG~
