Hello all! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We were able to do a lot of bonding on another long trip for us. We left early Thursday morning and got back in town at 1:30 on Saturday afternoon. We were able to have Thanksgiving dinner at the hotel, but I tell you what -- my mom and Aunt Joan came up today and cooked a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving dinner for the team -- the meal was wonderful and it's always nice to be able to have a nice home-cooked meal from the family! So thanks to them for coming up -- and Pops too!
The most important thing about the trip to Jonesboro was that we came home with a win. I think Coach V said it best when she said that every team has a bad game and that has to be our bad game of the year -- we were just fortunate to play our bad game and win! This week is a huge week for us with games at UCONN and home against Gonzaga; both are huge games for us so hopefully all can check us out on ESPN2 on Thursday night and then make the trip to Mackey for Saturday's game.
